A truly magical evening at BFI Southbank last Friday, at the screening of The Island - Film. The audience was enthralled by Anca Damian's poetic surreal animation and the live hypnotic music from the Balanescu Ensemble, performing a brilliant score composed by Alexander Balanescu especially for this film. So lucky to have had the creatives answer our questions after the screening, we all feel inspired to watch the film anew and discover new meanings!
